In 2005 the College was inspected by the ALI and was awarded a grade 3 satisfactory inspection, however, part of the curriculum Modern Foreign Languages and Sports & Recreation were deemed to be unsatisfactory. In response to these 2 areas being below standard the College implemented a Re-inspection Action Plan which was managed by a steering group comprising of the LSC, Partner Providers, the Local Authority and the College.
This Plan has now been completed and resulted in a re-inspection in 2007 of the 2 areas and both areas were deemed to be substantially improved and both received a grade 3 satisfactory grading.
Work is continuing to raise our performance levels on a yearly basis and currently the College is still holding top place for overall performance in the Black Country in 2005/2006 as shown by LSC figures. |
