Professional Licensure Disclosure Statement

Programs at º£½ÇÊÓÆµ that prepare students for professional licensure are designed to prepare a student to apply for applicable licensure in North Carolina. In order to comply with U.S. Department of Education regulations regarding distance education and professional licensure, º£½ÇÊÓÆµ is required to make the following disclosure with respect to professional licensure outside the state of North Carolina. If you live outside of North Carolina and would like to pursue a program of study that leads to professional licensure, please use the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ contact information for that program to determine whether the coursework offered by º£½ÇÊÓÆµ applies to professional licensure in your home state as well. Currently, º£½ÇÊÓÆµ does not offer an online program that leads to professional licensure.

Please contact the respective department at º£½ÇÊÓÆµ of the degree program that you want to pursue prior to beginning the program.

Students should contact º£½ÇÊÓÆµ directly regarding enrollment and licensure options for any program of interest. For more information about professional licensure in your state, or in the state in which you plan to practice, please contact the respective licensing board in the state where you reside before beginning a program.  NC SARA (National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement) has provided contact information for .

Students may view the disclosure for each program or certificate to know which state º£½ÇÊÓÆµ curriculum:

  • meets state educational requirements for licensure or certification, 
  • does not meet state educational requirements for licensure or certification, or 
  • has not made a determination.
